Income inequality is a trending topic in our national conversation — namely because it’s growing. Or, as you’ve probably heard “the rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer.” It’s something you might be especially aware of if you live in New Jersey — the state has the 13th highest level of income inequality, according to the most recent U.S. Census data.
